Advanced doula training

The advanced doula course Hand in Hand Doula was developed and implemented with the Croatian Doula Association with the support of Erasmus Plus. The course was held from October 2025 to May 2025, a total of 8 modules where doula knowledge was delved deeper. Among other things, it covered human rights, support during childbirth, breastfeeding, trauma and loss, and relationships and communication, as well as marketing.

The course is available online free of charge for those who have completed an undergraduate degree in doula training and are members of the Icelandic Doula Association and abide by their code of ethics.

The program is free of charge for all doulas who have completed basic training and registration is open.
